Cheech's Favorite Dry Fly

Now that we have that out of the way, the Grumpy Frumpy was one of my first commercially available fly patterns that has morphed over the years in size and color, but it seems that I always come back to the original colorway - yellow/tan. Check out the story of how it was created HERE. It seems that many of my most memorable fishing days are when the fish are aggressively and stupidly gorging on attractors like the Grumpy Frumpy!

You will need hackle with this fly as well, and since we individually size them, here is a link to all of our available COACHMAN BROWN hackle. You can use coachman brown or grizzly dyed coachman brown... The fish approve of both.
